Lowepro was born from one daring mountaineer’s desire to capture some of the world’s most unexplored beauty spots, with just a camera in tow. Greg Lowe made it his mission to create only the best in innovative, cutting-edge equipment, to protect extreme sporting lovers’ cameras and cinematography equipment from the heart-pounding elements.

The humble Colorado garage beginning of the world’s first Internal Frame Backpack in 1967 pays tribute to Lowe’s enduring belief that he could be the one to design a close-fitting and supportive backpack to transport camera and recording equipment that had otherwise never been seen before.

Lowe’s first defying feat paved the way for the original Soft-sided Protective Camera Bag.

And with that, the Lowepro mark took off. Fast forward to today and Lowepro has seen the creation of the first ever waterproof camera backpack, and continues to innovate each year to keep up with ever changing world of technology and photography.

The Fastpack II series is ideal for travel, business or pleasure. The next-generation pack design provides lots of versatility and enhanced protection: with a built-in All Weather AW Cover, trolley straps, removable padded waistbelt.

The Fastpack II series also boasts three primary storage zones, providing room for camera gear, a laptop and accessories as well as personal items in each of the models. A quick reach side entry makes sure you can always access your gear for when you need that instant shot.

A built-in All Weather AW Cover safeguards against rain, dust, sand and snow, whilst trolley straps and a removable padded waist belt provides ease and comfort when you’re on the go. Enjoy rapid retrieval of your DSLR with the easy 180-degree side-entry access to the camera zone compartment.

Adjustable dividers provide safe storage of up to 3 extra lenses or flash units (depending on model, see gear fit guide below for details). A security flap closure provides additional protection to outer compartments

The open zone, an organiser pocket located in the upper half of the bag enables fast access to accessories and personal items such as headphones, smartphones and portable hard drives. The dedicated device zone, with space for a laptop and padded CradleFit pocket, found in the rear of the backpack, is designed to fit a laptop of up to 11 inches or 15 inches in size depending on the chosen Fastpack model.
