With a spring form pan, the side wall can be loosened using a tension lever: the ring opens and you can remove the bottom of the mould and also clamp it back in. With a flat base, cakes and cake bases can be used in the springform pan. The base with central fireplace replaces a wreath mould for stirring cakes and bundt cakes. Unlike other baking moulds, the ready-baked cake from the springform pan will not be overturned. Instead, loosen the tension lever - the cake releases by itself thanks to the non-stick coating - and lift the ring upwards. Since the lower carrier plate is slightly larger than the ring, springform baking moulds are completely leak-proof.
