The paper sheets have a thickness or weight of 200 Grams per Square Meter or GSM. The hot-pressed watercolour paper has a fine-grained, smooth surface, with no tooth. Thanks to the smooth surface finish the sheets are perfect to use for both wet or dry watercolour techniques and are especially easy to work on with brush pens or ink. Paint dries very quickly on it, making it ideal for large, even washes of one or two colours. Multiple layers of washes are ill-advised as the smooth surface could buckle with too many layers on it. The watercolour sheets can be used with paint, brush pens, markers, pencils, fine liners, crayons and ink.
