Duralex brand

The reputation is based on the quality of the products and the unique material that is made of tempered glass and inspires its strength. The brand name comes from the Latin motto "Dura Lex Sed Lex" (The law is hard, but it is the law).

Duralex's first tableware, the Gigogne Mug, launched in 1946. In just a few decades, it made the product from school canteens to the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris.

The hardening process makes Duralex glass durable as the material is heated to around 700 degrees centigrade.

Duralex glass is able to withstand a thermal shock of 130 °C. Our products move from freezer to microwave without any problems.

Virtually unbreakable. If Duralex tempered glass breaks in your hands, there is no risk of injury. For your safety, it breaks down into a variety of blunt parts similar to the tempered glass used to make windscreens.
