The MEDiBrace will not curl over or 'ride' up your back which is a common complaint of lower back supports. The length of the plastic stays (rods) help eliminate this.

Doubles as a Waist Trimmer

We've remodelled the MEDiBrace several times since its inception making small adjustments, listening to customer feedback until we found the sweet spot for a perfect fit. This was an important factor for us that we really wanted to get right.

The straps on the MEDiBrace are of a breathable mesh design to help reduce perspiration.

Even so, it's a true fact that many people use this device as a sports waist trimmer to assist in the reduction of belly fat and weight loss during exercise.

ONE Piece of Neoprene

Yes, we make a big deal about this. But when we started out, the MEDiBrace was fashioned from three pieces of Neoprene like most other braces.

We read and took note of our early product reviews where some customers experienced a tear along the seams. That went against our principles of a high quality product.

So onwards from our 2018 remodel, all our back support belts are now manufactured from one whole piece of Neoprene.

Keep straps loose

It's easier to attach the front if the straps are loose or lightly attached to the belt where you can grab them in a moment...

Attach the brace at the front

Simply take both ends of the main belt and wrap around your waist. Stretch a little but not too much.

This attachment is not the primary function for back support (it's just to keep it around your waist). If you are struggling to attach this part, the brace is too small for you (so measure yourself before you buy, don't guess!)

Double-pull both straps

Next, take both ends of each elastic strap, stretch and pull forward at the same time, then attach those to the main belt.

The brace should now feel firm, compact and comfortable around your waist. It is this attachment (the elastic straps) that is the secret sauce behind the support of your back.
