The CB8 2K battery powerd wireless security camera is a 100% wire-free rechargeable camera which shows what an easy home camera truly looks like - 100% wire-free to go anywhere, motorized to take in 360-degree field-of-view, and smart enough to provide automated home protection.

  • Q1: How long does the battery last?

Answer: The CB8 is embedded with a 10400 mAh rechargeable battery to run up to 210 days on a full charge (triggered 5 mins a day). It can also be connected to EZVIZ Solar Panel to get powered directly.

  • Q2: Does it work with a base?

Answer: NO. This battery camera can work independently and does not need to be connected to any base.

  • Q3: How can I add the camera to the EZVIZ APP?

Answer: 1. Download the EZVIZ APP.

3. Scan the QR code to set up 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (5GHz not supported) on your device.

  • Q4: Can it do 24/7 constant recording？

Answer: Yes, but not recommended. Because this recording mode drains the battery quickly. To save battery power, we recommend that you choose [Record when triggered mode], which means that the camera will only record when there are people or animals moving in the scene monitored. When the scene is stationary, it does not record. In this mode, the camera can last for up to 210 days* on one full charge, even without the solar panel. If the solar panel is connected, there is normally no need to charge the battery camera throughout the year.
