How to maintain is required？

• The sponge needs to be rinsed every time it gets dirty (approximately every 2 to 4 weeks). No need to use tap water, just gently clean the sponge with aquarium water
• After 3 to 6 months of use, the pores of the sponge will gradually become clogged with fine debris, and the sponge filter will begin to fail
• Therefore, it is also recommended to replace the sponge every three to six months or when the sponge is worn out
