Automatically replicates traditional pour-over coffee at the touch of a button.

It uses automated pulses of water to mimic a manual pour over method to delight you with a more intense flavour and aroma. The smart temperature control helps to obtain far more consistent results.

Thanks to its high precision brewing technology, the Clessidra has earned the ECBC * certification, for perfect flavour extraction with the highest quality standards. The brewing system is electronically controlled and has a temperature sensor to keep the optimal brewing temperature between 92-96°C.

Italian Design

Clessidra is the Italian word for “hourglass”

to which the design is inspired with the unmistakable Italian flair from De’Longhi. The hourglass shape clearly recalls the slow coffee preparation of the traditional pour-over method.

Great Convenience

Clessidra offers convenient features to make your coffee experience even more enjoyable.

The anti-drip system stops dispensing when the carafe is removed from the base and with the generous glass carafe you can fill up to 10 cups. Clessidra is also easy to clean thanks to a practical Descale Alarm.

1. Fill with water

Fill the water tank to the level corresponding to the number of cups you want to make.

You can prepare up to 10 cups of coffee.

2. Pour ground coffee

A. Position the v-shape paper filter and fill with your favourite freshly ground coffee.

B. Use the included measuring scoop to ensure the right quantity.

3. Press the button

Position the jug on the heating plate and:

A. Press the left button for certified drip coffee

B. Press the right button for pour-over method.

4. Your coffee is ready

Pour and enjoy all the intense aroma and rich flavour extracted through this precise system*.

Standard Drip Coffee

Typically drip coffee is a simple process, add the coffee and press the brew button and wait for the carafe to fill with filtered coffee. The water boils up from an element at the bottom and travels up and into the coffee in a single stream. The coffee taste can be weak and bitter as the coffee is not evenly extracted. With Clessidra The 6 hole shower screen ensures water is evenly distributed so that the coffee flavours are extracted evenly.

De’Longhi Pour Over

The automatic pour-over delivers the same high-quality and intense coffee experience of the manual method, just at the touch of a button. The brewing system is approved by the European Coffee Brewing Centre ensuring precise temperature and infusion control time according to the highest standards. Engineered to create a slower brewing process that pulses through the large showerhead, resulting in an even, intense and aromatic flavour.

The extra time makes all the difference, allowing the beans to impart a more complex flavour and aroma into the resulting coffee.
