Partially Hydrolysed Guar Gum is a unique soluble fibre, also known as an indigestible complex carbohydrate, that is naturally derived from the guar bean plant. PHGG naturally contains glucomannan, a prebiotic starch that helps to feed the good bacteria in the colon, thereby enhancing short chain fatty acids (SCFA's), Bifidobacterium, and lactobacilli species which positively benefit gut health. Add 5g (1 tablespoon) to your favourite cold beverage, 1 to 3 times per day. For sensitive stomachs or those with IBS, start with 1/4 teaspoon and increase the amount weekly up to 1-2 tablespoons.
