All of our secure mailboxes are constructed of cold rolled electro-galvanized steel.

Room temperature raw steel is compacted stock through a series of metal rollers, similar to rolling out cookie dough, in a process that forces atoms together in a tighter bond. Cold rolling the steel in this way makes its strain hardened strength as much as 20 percent stronger than similar width steel! Next the steel plates are immersed in an aqueous zinc/saline bath and electroplated with zinc which protects all of our materials from corrosion.
