Use a vernier caliper to measure the inner diameter of the filter basket accurately. This is the best tool for obtaining precise dimensions. Confirm whether your filter basket is close to one of the standard sizes of 51mm, 53mm, or 58mm.
Note that a filter basket labeled as 51mm may actually have an inner diameter slightly larger than 51mm, generally between 51.3mm to 51.5mm. If you choose a Distributor with an outer diameter of 51mm, it should fit a nominally 51mm filter basket; however, due to the potential inward tapering at the bottom of the filter basket, the Distributor may not press fully against the bottom.
