To understand quick-talking callers and voice messages, the KX-TGM422AZB comes with one-touch Slow Talk control to automatically slow the speed of speech while conversing in real time. It's ideal for clearer conversations and conference calls, screening incoming calls and voice message playback. Slow Talk touch buttons are conveniently located on both base unit and handsets.

Clear Calls with Noise Reduction

You’ll easily be able to hear calls from noisy backgrounds with the Noise Reduction feature. The phone’s handset suppresses background noise around the caller while simultaneously enhancing their voice, making them easier to hear.

Easily Block Nuisance Callers + Audible and Visual Call Alerts

Say goodbye to annoying telemarketers thanks to the Nuisance Call Block feature. You can block specified numbers, numbers that match the first 2 to 8 digits of set numbers, and numberless calls. It is simple to register up to 250 unwanted numbers.

To complement the system's 15 ringtone options, bright red LED visual ringers on the base unit and handsets also flash when someone calls. Together with Panasonic's Talking Caller ID, the KX-TGM422AZB system not only alerts you audibly and visibly to incoming calls, but also tells you who's calling.

Easy to See, Easy to Use

The amplified KX-TGM422AZB not only makes everyday call management easier, but also more convenient with enlarged touch controls. Backlit, easily visible buttons let you choose six tone levels (and custom tone levels) for clarifying different voice types. Plus, boost caller voices by up to 40dB and set the volume of the ringer tone to up to 100dB. A white-backlit LCD and enlarged backlit numeric call dial keypad make calling quick and simple in any light conditions.

Power Outage Backup

For added safety and peace of mind, two built-in backup batteries* in the base unit keep you connected when the power goes out. When fully charged, the batteries provide power for up to 3 hours of continuous use and up to 4 hours in standby mode.

* 2 rechargeable Ni-MH batteries are installed in the base unit before shipment.

Tested for NBN Compatibility

NBN Co and Enex TestLab have collaborated to allow product providers such as Panasonic to test their cordless phones. This is done using a range of phone services which are provided under the NBN banner.
