DOG NECK DONUT is designed to prevent dogs from biting injured areas during their recovery. This inflatable dog collar ensures your dog has a smooth recovery along with great comfort. The cute dog neck donut is a lightweight alternative to a conventional plastic cone of shame. Unlike traditional e-cone, with our dog e-collar / Elizabethan collar for dogs, no more bumping into wall & furniture. Without blocking dog's vision, inflatable dog collars for after surgery makes eating & drinking easier during recovery.
We have EXTRA SMALL (Neck circumference: 6-8") or MEDIUM size (Neck circumference: 11-13") only. Please refer to 2nd & 3rd images. Recommend buying inflatable dog collar BEFORE surgery or hurt as a wound management kit.
Dog doughnut collar is easy to use.
1. Insert your dog's everyday regular collar via inner loops, so inflatable donut won't be easily pushed off or move around on neck.
2. Inflate dog donut collar via air valve (pinch & blow at same time) until it feels full but not overly hard.
3. Put collar around dog's neck with opening side behind dog's neck.
4. Adjust tightness of inflatable collar for dogs using the hook and loop strap. Or adjust inflation level by letting some air out. If too loose, dog's arm can stick between neck and the ring. If too TIGHT, it may lead to CHOKING.
5. When not in use, just deflate for storing. Remove outer cover for cold washing.
Notes:
* Donut dog collar is NOT chew proof. Not recommended if dog is a chewer or if other pets at home can destroy and pop it when not watching
* It may deflate slightly over time, so check and re-inflate once daily to ensure it is tight enough and fit around dog's neck
*In case air ring is damaged with holes, put duct tape on holes to fix it. An alternative is to put plastic grocery bags and stuff them into the cover to replace the ring.
* To avoid zipper breaking, don't pull too hard & hold both sides together when closing
