While you can fit the Arkose Insert inside the Norite Backpack, the Norite Insert was custom designed for the Norite Backpack's side access.

Can you use it in the rain?

Yes. The fabric is made from 600D Econyl Recycled Nylon and is weatherproof to keep your gear dry while exploring outdoors. However, water could enter through the zippers in extremely heavy rain or if submerged.

Can it fit a tripod?

Yes. The backpack comes with straps that allow you to attach your tripod to the outside.
