Born from Germany - from Misselwarden on the North Sea coast - Giorgio Jäneke founded his eponymous comb factory in Milan in 1830. The innovation of his company lay in the machine production of the combs - a production process that was still a sensation in this industry at that time in Italy. High quality 24k gold plated comb
This comb is made in an elaborate electroplating process in gold colour. The gold plating has an anti-static effect, thus minimising the static charge of the hair, against "flying hair" ("frizz").
