- ✔️Just Add Water: Reptile hobbyists will appreciate the convenience of preparing our insectivore gel; pour boiling water into the veggie powder, combine using a fork, and allow it to set before using.
- ✔️1:2 Powder/Water Ratio: To prepare the gel food, take one part powder and combine with 2 parts boiling water then allow it to set; for example, 100mls of powder is mixed with 200mls of water (100x2) to set to the ideal gel consistency.
- ✔️Mixing Directions: Take a measuring cup and pour in the desired quantity of powder, pour the powder in a mixing container. Add 2x boiling water into the measuring cup and pour the boiling water into the mixing container. Stir the powder and water with a fork until completely mixed. Place in the fridge to let the gel set, times will vary based on quantities made and mix is ready once firm.
- ✔️Lasting Gel Preparation: Store below 30c in a cool place away from direct sunlight to ensure proper shelf life. Container lid should remain firmly closed when not in use. Once made food can be stored in a sealed container and refrigerated for up to 3 weeks or frozen for 4 months.
