ATE Plastilube is an essential lubricant for brake repair. The special lubricant prevents the brake pads from rusting in the brake calliper guides and the formation of brake squeaks. To do this, the back plate of the brake pads must be painted with ATE Plastilube before installing the brake. ATE Plastilube is metal-free and ideal for use on aluminium brake calipers.
