  • Can I use SonarPen on my Android phone, tablet, iPad, iPhone.... ?

    SonarPen is compatible with iPhone, iPad that runs iOS 8 or higher, Android phones and tablets that run Android OS 4.0 or higher. Touch screen Chromebook with Playstore support. It also works with the Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite.

  • How to connects SonarPen to a device that only has a USB type-C or lightning port?

    We strongly advice to connect SonarPen to the device through an OFFICIAL SonarPen USB type-C to 3.5mm adapter or OFFICIAL SonarPen Lightning to 3.5mm adapter. Both adapters sold separately. +

  • Do SonarPen support palm rejection or finger rejection?

    SonarPen supports Palm rejection on all iPhone and iPad.

    But due to the variation of Android touch screen hardware, SonarPen will provide full palm rejection on some Android devices, but may support finger rejection on the other Android devices.

  • What is the maximum level of pressure detectable by SonarPen?

    SonarPen utilizes the analog-to-digital converter, aka ADC, in the iPad to detect the pressure level. ADC in the iPad has a higher resolution than that builtin to the smart pens, therefore SonarPen detects more levels than most other smart pens.

  • How often do I need to replace the nib?

    The SonarPen nib needs to be replaced when the flexible black conductive silicon core breaks. The durable silicon core is designed to withstand 100,000 strokes, which equates to a lot of drawings on your iPad.
