Use Treegator Original Slow Release Watering Bag on large trees up to 8 inches in trunk diameter (caliper) by zipping two Treegator Original Bags together back-to-back to form a Double Bag Setup.

  • Use two (2) single bags zipped together back-to-back for tree trunks up to 8 inches in diameter.
  • Double Bag Setup can hold up to a total of between 45 to 50 gallons of water, depending on trunk diameter.

Treegator Original is a slow release watering bag that is perfect for newly planted or established trees from a minimum of 1 inch to a maximum of 8 inches in trunk diameter (caliper), with branches beginning at least 25 inches from the ground or higher.

  • A single bag fits tree trunks from 1 inch to 3 inches in diameter.
  • Continuously provides water for approximately 5 to 9 hours.
  • Refill once every 5 to 7 days for most new tree plantings.
  • Water absorption with little or no run-off.
  • Deep water saturation promotes deep root growth.

Quick and Easy to Install

A Treegator Original can easily be installed and filled in less than 5 minutes with no tools, no digging, no staking, and no parts to install or buy.

  • Place around tree trunk, with the zippers on uphill side of tree.
  • Wrap both sides around trunk until zippers meet, then zip together from bottom to top.
  • Lift tag to expose fill opening at top of bag - insert hose into fill opening and begin filling with water.
  • Fill bag to 1/4 capacity - then gently lift up on black straps at top of bag to expand bottom.
  • Fill to desired level and let empty.
  • Continuously waters for approximately 5 to 9 hours.
  • Refill bag once every 5 to 7 days, or as needed - remove and store when not in use.
