Description
SmallRig Cage for Sony Alpha 1 II / Alpha 9 III 5642 is specifically engineered for wildlife photographers. The cage boasts a three-point locking system, using a bottom 1/4\"-20 screw and dual side screws to secure the camera and prevent deflection, while built-in pads protect it from scratches. The integrated teleconverter support is compatible with Sony FE 1.4x and 2.0x models, reducing lens mount strain for more stable shots at long focal lengths.
Equipped with multiple mounting interfaces—including 1/4\"-20 threaded holes, 1/4\"-20 locating holes, 3/8\"-16 threaded holes, and 3/8\"-16 locating holes for ARRI—this cage accommodates a variety of accessories. These include side handles (ID 4015), top handles (ID 3765) for smooth camera movements, monitor mounts (ID 2903B), tripods (ID 3989), power bank holders (ID BUB2336), and mini V-mount battery plates (ID 2987). The side also features a 1/4\"-20 locating hole for mounting single rod clamps (ID 3598), magic arms (ID 3873), and side handles (ID 4346).
On the left side, the cage integrates a \"HawkLock\" quick release NATO rail for quick attachment and detachment of side handles (ID 4485, 5633). Additional mounting points include a cold shoe mount for microphones and lights, a strap slot for wrist straps (ID 3848), and a QD socket for shoulder straps (ID 4118B).
The bottom of the cage features an quick release plate for Arca-Swiss for direct mounting to tripods for Arca-type (ID 4060) and gimbals for DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro, enabling rapid transitions between stabilizer, handheld, and tripod setups.
Compatibility: Only for Sony Alpha 1 II / Alpha 9 III
Precautions: Remove the teleconverter support before installing the stabilizer.
