Contact Smart Card Reader

  1. This USB chip card reader only works with contact chip cards (i.e. the chip is visible on the card), not with contactless NFC/RFID cards.
  2. This is a multi-function contact smart card reader, DOD and USG users need a third party CAC activator.
  3. Whether you can modify, copy, or otherwise edit the map depends on the software you are using. We are just a card reader and only help you read the card.
  4. For example, to read a bank card, you need to download the software corresponding to your PC from “User Client Software Download” on the bank's official website.

How to read the SIM card

The SIM card slot is only compatible with Windows systems

1. If your computer does not have the Simedit software, please go to any we-bsite to download one. Our Slm card reader is compatible with most Slmedit programs

2. The SIM card holder is suitable for standard size SIM cards. If your SIM card is smaller, the SIM card needs to be adjusted to the SIM card holder using the SIM card adapter (not included).

3. Insert the SIM card into the card slot of the SIM card reader

4. Connect the card reader's USB interface to the computer
