What are sight words?

Sight words often appear in material that we read but are not as simple as sounded out. These words have to be bear in mind because decoding them is difficult. Students are required to learn them as an all, by sight, then they can recognize them immediately (within three seconds) and read them without decoding skills. Coogam swat sight words game comes with 400 sight words in 200 double-sided flies, features Dolch’s and Fry’s sight word lists that cover commonly found words. Sight words are confidence builders. Dolch’s sight words make up 50 to 75% of the words in any children’s text, and knowing these lists of high-frequency words gives young readers a great advantage when attempting to read new stories. When a child recognizes more than half of the words on the page, he has the confidence to try to read them. The four high-quality fly swatters are made of heavy-duty ABS plastic, sturdy and durable for long-term use. Ten color-coded word cards divided sight words from level Pre-k to grade 3, suitable for homeschooling kids of 5yrs and up. How to play?

One person calls out the word on the flashcard, the players find the words and smack it immediately with the swatter. The first to slap the card keeps the card. The one with the most cards wins.
