Grower Champagnes are where the producer grows and also makes 100% of their Champagnes and unlike a Champagne House, they do not purchase extra fruit from Growers. Pierre Gimonnet is one of the most highly respected small producers of Champagne. The one thing that continues to strike me every time I drink this Champagne is its complexity . The yeasty, bready influences and depth of flavour just seem to outstrip its price point.
