Gravette Arkansas' favorite singer/songwriter and staple of southwest music festivals, Crow is a staple on the Southwest Songwriter festival circuit. Previous praised for her work editing Sassafras Magazine, the singer/songwriter preeminent publication, she now releases Picture The Thought. This album captures her unique spirit, features her noteworthy Ring of Stones and is her best to date. She began on the Houston coffee house circuit, taking the name Crow from her Native American father. She has toured with everyone from Townes Van Zandt to Janis Joplin, moving to England in '68 as part of a folk duo called Avelon, who recorded for EMI. Moving back to the States, she commenced decades of touring as a solo singer/songwriter.
