Sodom are a German thrash metal band, formed in Gelsenkirchen in 1981 and are referred to as one of the big four of Teutonic thrash metal, along with Kreator, Destruction and Tankard. Over their 43 year career they have released seventeen studio albums and constantly tour the globe to a rabid fanbase in front of sell out festival and club crowds. They also have a devoted fan club, the Sodomaniacs.
