As a result of too low tyre pressure, the tyre can suddenly burst. This means an enormous safety risk for all occupants. Therefore, tyre pressure monitoring systems (RDKS) have been mandatory for all new vehicles in the EU since November 2014. Hella offers a reliable and high-quality safety product with the battery-powered tyre pressure monitoring sensors. They are attached directly to the respective wheel of the vehicle and measure the temperature, as well as the pressure of the tyre. The measured value of the tyre pressure is transmitted by radio to the tyre pressure control unit.
