The official Raspberry Pi 5 case is an evolution of the Raspberry Pi 4 case with a number of improvements and thermal properties to account for the base area and peak power consumption of the Raspberry Pi 5. The case features the familiar easy to fit snap-together design and now includes an internal PWM fan for the Raspberry Pi 5's dedicated fan connection. Heatsinks are included. Ventilation openings in the base and a narrow gap under the lid also ensure unhindered airflow. This combination of active and passive thermal measures ensures that your board stays cool even on the most demanding projects. The new power button of the Raspberry Pi 5 is accessible with a clear 2-in-1 button and an activity LED button. An access area has been added to replace the micro SD card, while soft feet ensure that your projects stay on your desk and the surface is not damaged. Stacking enclosures is possible if you add your own spacers/screws.
