  • Cupped flat washers will never loosen. The blade can be tightened and loosened up to 16 inches even when twisted. Flat style grooves are 1/16th to 1/8th, shallow to snug. That's why cupped styles are so popular.Counter rotating blades have a tendency to come loose and blades wobble and bugger up the ends of the spindles. These have the recess to clear the spines and keep a positive tension on the bolts, keeping your blades nice and snug until you want them to come off.
