GRAMMY Award winners Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer perform songs from their award winning film and DVD of the musical theater piece, "ALL WIGGED OUT." The show is a comedy musical about Marcy's experience with cancer including 10 original songs and two covers by close friends of the duo. In this studio album, they are joined by the cast band, Janet Cramer on drums and Stacy McMichael on bass. There are extended versions of songs from the show, plenty of humor and harmony.
Marcy sings and plays electric guitar, ukulele, mandolin and washboard. Cathy sings and plays electric and acoustic guitars and banjo. Musical styles range from funk (All Wigged Out) to folk (Closer to the Light) to Old Time (Where'd You Get That Hat?) to bluegrass (Jesus is My Backseat Driver).
The film has won awards and recognition from over twenty film festivals including Cannes World Film Festival (Best Health Film), New York Movie Awards (Best Feature Documentary) and Sweet Democracy Film Awards (Best Feature Documentary).
