Romak 868430 Stainless Steel D Shackle is made from strong and durable quality of stainless steel, corrosion resistant for long service life. Sturdy, and very duarable even in the grimy, wet conditions found during off-roading. Well suited for attaching ropes, cables, straps, chains and other fastenings for sailing, rigging, lifting and other different situations on the adventurous trail. Also known as chain shackles, D shackles, or dee shackles, both referring to the D shape design. Narrower than a bow or anchor shackle and generally have a threaded pin or pin close. Used to attach shade sail cables to turnbuckles. Hot dip galvanised for durability. Due to the shape, side and racking loads may bend the shackle. Safety tip: Thread a tie wire through the pin hole and attach to shackle to prevent from loosening. Thickness: 10 mm. Working Load Rated 1T.
