Spiral Foods Nori Sea Gluten-Free Vegetable is grown over the cold winter months on woven ropes and suspended between bamboo poles in deep bays. Then harvested and washed and then pressed together and dried thus resulting in thin sheets of black or dark purple that are usually used to wrap the rice in sushi. It features the most vitamin A of all the sea vegetables and also contains vitamin D. It tastes great as is or just break it up and drop into cooked soups and casseroles for a bit of added flavour.
