For this studio recording jazz organist Doug Carn is joined by dual tenor saxophonists Howard Wiley and Teodross Avery and drummer Deszon Claiborne to form The West Coast Organ Band. Building on the success of the 2015 release, My Spirit, Carn and the group perform songs by Wayne Shorter, Bobby Hutcherson, McCoy Tyner and Woody Shaw, with three original kick-ass tracks featuring the Hammond B-3.

Doug Carn's albums are priceless treasures, evident in the prices his rare Black Jazz label releases from the 70's fetch. While My Spirit is available at a fraction of those costs, the quality stands up to his classics from 40 years ago and is truly priceless!
