Penrite 15W-40 Premium Mineral Engine Oil is a high quality mineral, SAE 15W-40, engine oil made from pure hydrocracked base oils and an advanced anti-wear additive system for complete engine protection. Premium Mineral 15W-40 meets API (American Petroleum Institute) SP specifications ensuring quality and satisfaction. Premium Mineral 15W-40 is recommended for use where SAE 15W-40 or SAE 20W-40 engine oils are specified by the manufacturer. It can be used where API SP and where previous specifications API SN (2010-2020), API SM (2004-2010), SL (2001-2004), SJ (1998-2000) or older specifications were recommended. It can also be used in older diesel engined vehicles where API CF or earlier is specified by the manufacturer. It is NOT suitable for use in diesels fitted with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) that require an ACEA “C” grade Low-SAPS (Sulphated Ash, Phosphorus and Sulphur) engine oil.
