A brand new, high quality Traditional Jazz band recreating the world of the Louis Armstrong All Stars. It isn't often that a brand new high quality Traditional Jazz Band comes along, but The Bateman Brothers Jazz Band is one such. Both the Bateman brothers work with a number of British Jazz legends: Ian currently plays in Acker Bilk's Paramount Jazz Band, the Back To Basie Orchestra and leads The Bone Supremacy. He has also played with Terry Lightfoot's band and Humphrey Lyttelton's. Alan regularly deps with Acker Bilk's Band, Kenny Ball's Jazzmen, and is a member of Terry Lightfoot's Jazz Band. Of the rest of the band, reed player Trevor Whiting comes from Chris Barber's Jazz Blues Band and pianist Craig Milverton was recently voted top UK Jazz pianist of 2010 in the British Jazz Awards.
