The Escalators is a band that sounds quite unlike anything else. Taking it's inspiration from some of the artistic concepts of master film-maker David Lynch the band has developed it's own very unique approach to music making, sometimes beautiful, sometimes unsettling. The Escalators consist of a veritable who's who of the Melbourne music scene with all of it's performers playing in dozens of other significant Melbourne bands including City City City, Adam Simmons Toys Band, CW. Stone king, the Antipodeans, Malakat and the Ned Collette band.
