Bill Barclay is a well known and well loved comediansinger on the Scottish music scene and beyond. He was a radio presenter on Radio Forth for many years and has acted in TV dramas and comedies, often as a policeman. This album was first released in 1990 on cassette but in this, the Greentrax 20th Anniversary year, it is being released on CD to meet public demand: every year, just prior to Christmas, Greentrax receives numerous requests for "The Twelve Days Of Christmas" single now deleted, which on its first release in 1974 entered the UK Charts.
