After playing over 80 shows and doing countless guest DJ spots last year, Combichrist decided not to rest. They immediately began work on a new album. As a prelude to the audio plague they will unleash this year, the band presents the Get Your Body Beat EP. Seven versions of the title track, along with a remix of Products and two b-sides the EP shows an evolution from their 2005 release, Everybody Hates You. Infectiously intense EBM beats and melodies accented by bits of power noise electronics, Andy LaPleguas easily discernable vocals, and techno music elements make the EP serve as a buzz worthy teaser for the new album. An all out invasion is immanent and Combichrist will hail the coming of a new age in electronic musicTechno Body Music (TBM).
