Hailing from the same celebrated North East (Britain) scene that spawned The Futureheads and Maximo Park, FIELD MUSIC add something more cerebral to the spiked Mackem brew. Comprising a core of three members (ANDREW MOORE plus brothers PETER and DAVID BREWIS) and an ever-shifting crew of local luminaries, Field Music are something of a North East supergroup. Peter was The FUTUREHEADS original drummer; Barry Futurehead was in one of the many early Field Music line-ups and sometime drummer TOM ENGLISH is on loan from MAXIMO PARK. Their pop is huge, loaded with melody and harmony, and perfect for fans of Big Star, Modern Lovers, My Bloody Valentines, Neptunes, etc.
