Adam Topol is the drummer for the Jack Johnson Trio. "Ritmo Y Canto" is Adam's folkloric drum and voice album featuring traditional Cuban songs performed by a host of roots aficionados, such as Ozomatli's Asdru Sierra, Justin "Nino" Poree, and Raul Pacheco, The Innocent Criminals percussionist David Leach, latin jazz producer and DJ Miles Perlich, UCLA instructor and batalero Luca Brandoli, Grupo Afrocuba de Matanzas vocalist Teresita Dome Perez, Juan Calvo Flores, and a host of other respected traditional and contemporary students of afro-cuban rhythm and song.
