Respected U.S. indie Slumberland releases this 18-song overview of Summershine, which could be loosly described as Australia's answer to Sarah or K, only better than either, with a host of tasty 7"s. These nine bands tend to the winsome, fresh-faced side, but with a competence and confidence rarely shown by their U.S./U.K. counterparts. Tender Engines and Earthmen are enormously entertaining.
