Devon started recording GILDING THE LILY with long-time associate Jorge Elbrecht (Lansing-Dreiden, Violens, Ariel Pink) immediately after completing EUPHORIA, and over the intervening two years the songs steadily evolved, mirroring changes in Williams' life that included marriage and multiple intercontinental relocations.
